Our products include quilt patterns with detailed, step-by-step instructions, and quilt note cards which are left blank inside to suit any occasion you may need a card for. Quilters' Treasure Chest is owned and operated by Raija, a native of the Nordic country of Finland, the land of over a hundred thousand lakes and magnificent textile designs.
Although sewing since childhood, Raija didn’t get introduced to quilting until she was in her late twenties. Quilting took over Raija’s life very quickly, and before long she was designing her own quilt patterns. Having taught quilting in the years past Raija is very aware of the need for precise, accurate, and easy-to-follow instructions. Hence Raija spent years developing patterns that will deliver much more than your average quilt pattern. From detailed instructions, including pressing directions, to color pictures, from the Picture is Worth a Thousand Stitches™ page that has color photos to provide added clarity, to stand-alone Quilt Assembly Diagram postcards, Raija has put a lot of thought and effort into developing a pattern format that will impress even the most demanding quilter. Physical copies of the patterns have been printed in color on high quality paper/card stock, making them enjoyable and durable to use.
