We are a huge fan of Deb Tucker's tools. Her tools are based on the notion of making a unit oversized, and then cutting it to the perfect size. You can view her videos here.
If you don't have access to her tools, and our pattern calls for some, you can use the files below to download templates that can be used in place of her tools. When printing the paper templates, make sure your printer's "scale to fit" is not checked, so that the templates will be the right size.
